PARKING:

• Hyde Park Village has three parking decks available for use. We strongly suggest parking in one of these decks and making the short walk to the registration point/beginning of the parade route. Street parking is very limited.

• Registration will be at the St. John’s Episcopal Church located at 906 S. Orleans Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33606.

• The STROLL Hyde Park Pet Parade presented by PFS Signature Wealth will also conclude at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Please see the route map below.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE:

• The STROLL Hyde Park Pet Parade presented by PFS Signature Wealth is only able to allow those individuals that are registered by the date of registration closing to participate in the event. All others will — unfortunately — have to be turned away.

DONATIONS:

• Our Pet Parade is a FREE event spotlighting The Humane Society of Tampa Bay (HSTB.)  If possible, on the day of the event, please bring a clean, old towel to donate to benefit the Surgical Team at HSTB.

Costume Contest

The Hyde Park Pet Parade Costume Contest is a thrilling opportunity for pet owners to showcase their beloved companions in their most imaginative and adorable costumes. Whether your pet is a dog, cat, rabbit, or any other friendly creature, they are invited to participate and steal the spotlight!

Contest Categories

• Best Pet Costume: Three categories for size of pet: Small, Medium, Large/Extra-Large

• Best Family Theme

• Best Child/Toddler

• Best Kid (age 7-12)

Contest Guidelines

1. Registration: Participants must register by October 25th for the contest and check in at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event to be eligible to participate in the costume contest for prizes.

2. Costume Safety: While we encourage creativity, the safety and comfort of the pets are of utmost importance. All costumes should be pet-friendly, allowing them to move freely and ensuring their visibility is not obstructed.

3. Pet Behavior: Pets should be well-behaved and comfortable around other animals and people. Aggressive or disruptive behavior may result in disqualification or removal from the contest area.

4. Judges and Prizes: A panel of esteemed judges will evaluate the costumes based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the contest categories. Winners will be announced at the end of the contest, and exciting prizes will be awarded to the champions in each category.

5. Photography: Participants are encouraged to bring cameras or smartphones to capture memorable moments during the contest. Don't forget to share your pictures on social media using the event's designated hashtag!
